Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Remione LTD handles personal data in connection with ePopIt (also listed as “Popit fidget toys 3D top style”), its support services and these app information pages. Remione LTD, 75 Leontiou Machaira, Centre, Office 102, Limassol 3025, Cyprus, is the controller of the processing described here, except where a provider independently determines its own processing. Contact: support@epopit.app or info@remione.ltd.
This policy describes data handling; accepting our Terms of Use is not consent to optional tracking or advertising.
1. Data we process
- Gameplay and preferences: scores, lives, selected modes, toys and skins, progress, rewards, settings and interactions. The app stores state on your device. Gameplay events and properties, including points and lives, are also sent to analytics services.
- Game Center: when authenticated, the app accesses your game-specific player identifier and display name, submits scores to Apple leaderboards and retrieves scores. It also sends Game Center authentication status, player identifier and display name to analytics services. Leaderboard visibility is controlled by Apple and your Game Center settings.
- Device, usage and diagnostic information: installation and app-instance identifiers, device and operating-system information, app version, language, approximate region, sessions, interaction events, crashes, errors and technical logs. Service providers may receive your IP address when your device connects. Approximate location can be inferred from network information; this is different from precise GPS location.
- Purchases: product identifiers, transaction and entitlement information, subscription/trial status, purchase events and identifiers used to associate purchases with an installation or purchase profile. Apple processes App Store payments; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
- Advertising and attribution: ad requests, impressions, clicks, rewards, campaign and conversion information, consent choices and device or advertising identifiers where available and permitted. Providers may combine permitted data to measure campaigns or personalize advertising.
- Notifications: notification permission status and, when registered for push services, device registration tokens and installation identifiers used to deliver notifications.
- Support: your email address, name if provided, message and any attachments or diagnostic information you choose to send. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
The app does not require a separate Remione username and password. An Apple Account, Game Center profile, installation identifier and subscription profile are different things. Some app data may be included in device backups according to your Apple settings; we do not promise that all progress is synchronized or recoverable through iCloud.
2. Purposes and legal bases
Where the GDPR or equivalent rules apply, the relevant bases are:
- Providing requested services and fulfilling our contract: operating the game, maintaining local progress, providing requested Game Center features, verifying purchases, restoring eligible entitlements and answering service requests.
- Legitimate interests: proportionate security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, service reliability and defending legal claims, where these interests are not overridden by your rights. These interests do not override consent requirements for device access, tracking or advertising.
- Consent: optional analytics, advertising identifiers, personalized advertising and related device storage/access where consent is required by law; Apple tracking permission is additionally required for tracking as defined by Apple. Consent can be withdrawn as described below.
- Legal obligations: compliance with applicable accounting, tax, consumer protection and lawful disclosure requirements.
We use usage and purchase information to understand gameplay, evaluate features and offers, and improve the app. Advertising supports free features. Optional permissions are not a condition of receiving a purchase you have paid for. We do not use this information to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. Providers and sharing
Depending on the app version, region, enabled features and applicable choices, the app integrates the following services. These providers may receive the categories above relevant to their functions, directly from the app or through enabled integrations:
- Apple: App Store transactions, Game Center, notifications and device backup services — Apple Privacy Policy.
- Google Firebase: analytics, remote configuration, crash diagnostics and messaging — Firebase privacy information.
- Google AdMob: advertising, measurement and consent management — Google Privacy Policy.
- Adapty: purchases, subscription entitlements, paywalls and purchase analytics — Adapty Privacy Policy.
- Amplitude: product and gameplay analytics — Amplitude Privacy Notice.
- Tenjin: attribution and campaign measurement — Tenjin Privacy Policy.
- AppMetrica and Yandex Mobile Ads: analytics, attribution and advertising — Yandex Privacy Policy.
- Meta/Facebook: app event and campaign measurement — Meta Privacy Policy.
Providers acting on our behalf must process data under appropriate contractual restrictions and provide protection at least equivalent to that required by this policy and applicable Apple requirements. Some providers, including Apple and advertising providers, also process data as independent controllers under their own notices. Those notices supplement our disclosures and do not remove our obligations for data we share.
We may also disclose necessary information to professional advisers, authorities when legally required, or parties to a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements. We do not publish support messages or private purchase records. Advertising disclosures may qualify as “sharing” or a “sale” under some privacy laws even without a payment for data; the rights below apply where those laws cover our processing.
4. Your choices and withdrawal
- Tracking: review or withdraw the app's permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Denying tracking does not necessarily stop all first-party analytics or contextual advertising.
- Advertising choices: use the advertising privacy option in the app's Settings when available. Its availability depends on the provider and region; it may not control every analytics or advertising provider. Contact us for choices not exposed in the app.
- Other consent and objections: email us to withdraw consent to processing under our control or object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing. Identify ePopIt and the request; we will explain any information needed to locate the relevant records.
- Notifications and Game Center: manage notification permissions and Game Center participation/visibility in your Apple device settings. These controls do not automatically delete previously collected records.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier consent-based processing. Deleting the app removes local app data subject to device and backup behavior, but does not automatically erase provider records or cancel an Apple subscription. You can request deletion separately. We do not require a paid upgrade to exercise privacy rights.
5. Retention and deletion
Retention depends on the type of data and its purpose, rather than the existence of a Remione account:
- Local game state remains until removed through app/device data deletion or overwritten; Apple backups and Game Center records follow Apple's controls and retention rules.
- Purchase and entitlement records are retained as needed to administer access, restoration and transaction disputes, and for applicable legal recordkeeping periods.
- Support correspondence is retained while resolving the request and for a proportionate follow-up or claims period, taking into account the nature of the issue and applicable limitation periods.
- Identifiable analytics, advertising and diagnostic records are subject to the relevant service's retention settings and deletion processes. The criteria are the time needed to investigate technical issues, evaluate feature/campaign performance and prevent fraud; data should be deleted or anonymized when no longer necessary for those purposes.
For deletion requests, we assess the records we control and instruct processors where applicable. Limited records may need to be retained for legal obligations, security or claims; we will explain an applicable exception. Backup copies may remain until their normal protected expiry. Irreversibly anonymized statistics may be retained. Contact us for information about retention applicable to your records; provider notices linked above describe their separate processing.
6. International processing and security
Our company is based in Cyprus. Our providers operate internationally, and data may be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA, in countries whose protections differ. Transfers subject to GDPR restrictions require a valid mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or European Commission standard contractual clauses with additional measures where needed. A provider's participation in a framework applies only where its certification and the transfer are covered. You may contact us for information about the destination and safeguards applicable to your data and how to obtain a copy.
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the processing, including access restrictions and the security facilities of our providers. No storage or transmission system is completely secure. This statement does not limit statutory security obligations or your remedies.
7. Children and young players
The app does not ask you to register a Remione account or provide a date of birth. We therefore do not generally know a player's age, and automated analytics and advertising processing described above may concern young players as well as adults. The absence of registration does not mean that no personal data is collected.
Children's data receives additional legal protection. A store age rating describes content suitability; it is not parental consent to analytics or advertising. A Game Center age setting does not by itself disable every third-party service in the app.
Where processing requires a parent's or guardian's authorization under applicable law, that authorization is required before that processing. Please do not send us a child's personal information in a support request unless necessary to address the issue. If you believe we have processed a child's data without required authorization, contact us so we can investigate, stop unlawful processing and arrange deletion where required. We do not treat a child's use of the app or acceptance of Terms as consent to tracking.
8. Privacy rights and complaints
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of eligible data; withdraw consent; and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Where applicable, you may also opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising and exercise rights through an authorized agent, without unlawful discrimination.
Send requests to support@epopit.app; if needed, use info@remione.ltd. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity or authority and locate records. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary. Under GDPR, we respond without undue delay and normally within one month; if a lawful extension is necessary, we will explain it within that month. Other applicable statutory deadlines are respected.
You may complain to a competent data protection authority, including the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or the authority where you live or work. You do not have to contact us first. For data independently controlled by Apple or another provider, you can also use that provider's privacy request process.
9. Website visits and policy changes
Opening these pages connects to our hosting provider, which receives technical request information such as your IP address. These ePopIt Terms and Privacy pages do not load our website analytics script. Other Remione website pages integrate Google Analytics for website usage measurement, which can use browser identifiers and cookies. Browser controls can restrict storage, but do not replace any consent required by law. The app's tracking permission does not itself set website consent.
We may update this policy to reflect service or legal changes. The date above identifies the revision. Material changes will receive appropriate notice, and we will obtain fresh consent when legally required; publication of revised wording alone does not authorize incompatible new processing.
